With the new administration now in place, along with a wave of crypto-friendly policies, the question on everyone’s mind is whether a massive crypto bull run is about to begin. Recent events, like the launch of $TRUMP Coin to leverage the Presidential momentum to capitalize on the growing meme coin hype, the departure of Gary Gensler, and the actual transition of power back in Trump’s hands, are all hinting at 2025 to be the year of altcoins.
On Scott Melker’s podcast, Trading Alpha’s John Wick discussed how the altcoin market is experiencing an interesting phase where multiple coins are beginning to show signs of life. Here are few altcoins which could rally soon:
Chainlink (LINK)
Chainlink, a solid altcoin with real-world utility, has shown strength on its weekly chart.
After confirming a bottom, LINK surged to $26.90, but pulled back to retest support below $24. From a long-term perspective, the analyst said that Chainlink looks like a solid option, but resistance around its current level could limit short-term gains. The coin has surged more than 7% in the last 24 hours and is now eyeing to break levels above $27.

Dogecoin (DOGE)
The analyst explained that Dogecoin price is holding above the 50% retracement level of the previous bullish bar, a strong indication of support.
While it’s not moving much at the moment, its price action remains constructive as long as it holds above the key support zone of $0.29.
Fartcoin
Fartcoin has completed a typical market cycle—basing, breakout, topping, and potential reversal. A double-bottom formation now hints at a recovery.
Currently testing support below $1.60, Fartcoin could see another bullish phase, especially after hitting an all-time high of $2.61 just four days ago.
Worldcoin (WLD)
Worldcoin, which has generated hype due to its connection to biometric identification, is currently in the early stages of price accumulation.
According to the analyst, it has formed a stage one basing phase but recently showed a small fake-out, hitting resistance and pulling back. A breakout from its current range of $2.11-$2.34 is awaited.

Bonk (BONK)
Despite being a meme coin, Bonk shows technical potential. Analysts point to a reversal candle that suggests a breakout from its current levels.
In the last 24 hours, Bonk has traded between a low of $0.00002997 and a high of $0.00003213. Its all-time high was on November 20, 2024, at $0.00005916, which is a 47.23% decrease from its current price.
