The Argentina Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons announced the launch of their own NFT collection titled “CryptoMasons” featuring 77 artwork pieces as NFT tokens. The project will be launched on the Ethereum network.
The project is philanthropic in nature and all the profits that will be acquired from the collection will be donated to charities in cryptocurrency, most likely in the form of stablecoins. The promoters have even claimed that the transfer process will be completely transparent. In addition, the recipients are also mandated to report on how the funds are further invested to maintain the ethical integrity of the project.
CryptoMasons will be available for sale on the OpenSea marketplace where Argentina Masons have already created a user profile.
The Grand Lodge also shared the institutions receiving the donations and the list includes – Bernardino Rivadavia Home, the Fundación Ciudadanos del Mundo in Buenos Aires, and the Ángel Cassanello Labor Training Center in the province of Santa Fe, while the rest of the proceeds will be reinvested into the project.
CryptoMasons leader Nano and his collaborator Nicolas Claveguera extended the details of the philanthropic collection, which is the first of its kind to be associated with a Masonic lodge.
The names of the 7 artists who worked on the collection include Almirante, Shawn Brennan, Harold Pérez Lamorú, MAB, León M. Saia, Masonic Humor, and Naza. The collected logo that reads “The 77 blocks of the union chain” has been designed by Ian Eric Margulis.
