Atleta successfully showcased its transformative potential at the WebX 2024 conference in Tokyo on August 28-29. Atleta, the modular, multilayer blockchain network, is positioned to be the first purpose-built blockchain of its kind to transform the sports industry into a more secure, efficient, and open version of itself. International football legends Marco Materazzi and Edmilson joined the Atleta team, communicated with guests and signed dozens of autographs at Booth C70.
Atleta’s Booth C70 boasted engaging activities and memorable gift giveaways. The project is supported by football legends Marco Materazzi (Italy 2006 World Cup Champion) and Edmilson (Brazil 2002 World Cup Champion) who signed autographs and took photos with booth guests. The autograph and photo session with football legends drew a lot of attention and highlighted high interest in football in Japan. 500 luckiest people received football balls and posters signed by football legends.
The presentation by Andrey Didovskiy, Director of Blockchain and Web3 at Blockchain Sports Ecosystem, highlighted the impressive growth of the Atleta Olympia Testnet, surpassing approximately 300 000 unique users and 10 000 000 transactions. The audience received Andrey’s speech positively, and he felt encouraged by their response.
