Binance’s Airdrops Portal has revealed Banana Gun (BANANA) as its inaugural altcoin project, outlining token distribution plans for eligible airdrop participants and Simple Earn product subscribers.
According to the crypto exchange, product subscribers are eligible for the airdrop distribution and will receive their BNB between 03:00 on June 23, 2024, and 14:59 on July 6, 2024 (UTC+3, Turkey time).
Furthermore, Binance disclosed that the BANANA HODLer Airdrops page is expected to be available within five hours of the official announcement. In addition, the new token will be distributed to users’ Spot Wallets one hour before trading begins.
The Binance HODLer Airdrops program rewards BNB holders with token airdrops based on historical snapshots of their BNB balances. Therefore, users who subscribe their BNB token to Simple Earn automatically become eligible for HODLer Airdrops, Launchpool, and Megadrop rewards. This program differs from other earning methods, particularly benefiting Simple Earn subscribers.
Binance plans to list BANANA on July 20, 2024, at 12:00 AM, with trading pairs including “BANANA/BTC, BANANA/USDT, BANANA/BNB, BANANA/FDUSD, and BANANA/TRY.”
Banana Gun is the ecosystem token for the Banana Gun bot, which provides trading tools for on-chain tokens. According to its whitepaper, the platform offers features including auto sniper, manual trader, anti rug, private transactions, sandwich protection, reorg protection.
Meanwhile, a crypto commentator disclosed that the Banana Gun treasury address received 800,000 unlocked BANANA tokens (27% of the total supply) before Binance’s official announcement. These tokens were subsequently transferred to a new address, which is believed to be in preparation for the Binance airdrop that involved the exact number of the transferred tokens.

Following Binance’s announcement, Banana Gun experienced a significant price climb, reaching 20.43% at press time, per CoinMarketCap data.
