Today, Changpeng Zhao aka CZ, the CEO of Binance, tweeted that Binance joined forces with law enforcement agencies across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to deliver practical crypto training and workshops for investigators and prosecutors over the last three weeks.

Continuing the Twitter thread, Zhao explained that the two-day training was delivered in collaboration with Thai AMLO (Anti-Money Laundering Office). The training conducted classes on crypto fundamentals, hands-on investigation techniques, case studies, and the role of crypto exchanges in crime investigations and crime prevention.

In September, Binance unveiled its Global Law Enforcement Training Program. According to Binance, the program was designed to help law enforcement detect financial and cyber crimes and assist in the prosecution of bad actors in the crypto sector.

Furthermore, Binance Investigation teams have conducted more than 30 workshops across Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Philippines, Sweden, South Korea, UK, and many more countries

Since last year, the Binance Investigation team had responded to more than 27,000 law enforcement requests with an average of three days response time. The two-day training was a response to protect industries and users against crypto scammers.

Responding to the actions of the Binance Investigation team, Tigran Gambaryan, the Global Head of Intelligence and Investigations of Binance, stated that more regulators, public law enforcement agencies, and private sector stakeholders are joining the crypto sector.

To meet the demand of combatting crypto crimes, Binance has bolstered our team to conduct more training and work hand-in-hand with regulators across the globe.
