Binance is now offering a prediction market inside its app, powered by a partnership with decentralized protocol Predict.fun, built on the BNB Smart Chain.

The integration lets users bet on real‑world events like sports, economics, geopolitics, and crypto price movements, all without ever leaving Binance.

The new feature is located in the Markets tab inside the Binance app, and users will need to open a special “prediction account”, which is separate from a regular spot or funding accounts. Once that’s done, users can fund trades with balances already on Binance, usually using stablecoins like USDT.

Unlike traditional DeFi prediction markets, the experience is designed to feel more like trading on a centralized exchange. Binance handles the front end, liquidity, and wallet side, while third‑party providers like Predict.fun manage event creation, pricing, and settling outcomes.

This separation is by design, since Binance isn’t acting as the bookmaker or counterparty. It’s just the access layer, connecting users to the decentralized prediction infrastructure underneath.

Keyless MPC Wallets and Gasless Trading

One of the central innovations in the launch is Binance’s keyless MPC (Multi-Party Computation) wallet technology.

This system removes the need for users to manage seed phrases or manually sign blockchain transactions, which is a huge hurdle for everyday DeFi users. Instead, private keys are split among several secure parties, so users can interact smoothly without transferring full custody.

The integration also offers a gasless experience, meaning users don’t need to hold BNB or pay transaction fees manually. The wallet handles blockchain costs in the background, making it much easier for everyday users to get started.

It’s worth noting that the prediction markets feature is still not accessible in every region.

Binance’s move comes as prediction markets shift from being just a niche corner of crypto to a more widespread segment.

For instance, Coinbase rolled out prediction markets across the US earlier this year via Kalshi. Additionally, Crypto.com dropped its standalone prediction platform ahead of big sporting events, and Trust Wallet (plus other Web3 wallets) is also pulling in multiple prediction protocols.

At the same time, the sector is growing rapidly, with some estimates putting monthly trading volume across all platforms in the tens of billions.
