The world’s largest crypto exchange Binance has announced the listing of GoPlus Security (GPS), a token designed to enhance security in Web3.
According to the announcement, trading for GPS will begin today, March 4, at 13:00 UTC. The token will be traded against several currencies, such as USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.
Zero-Fee Trading & Early Deposits Spark Investor Interest
Meanwhile, deposits for GPS opened earlier today at 10:20 UTC. To avoid confusion with other tokens, Binance has assigned a unique seed phrase to GPS.
Notably, the exchange has removed trading fees for GPS. This means users can trade GPS without additional costs.
Following the announcement, GPS surged by 16%, reflecting strong market interest. As of this press time, GPS trades at $0.141, a 3.8% rise in the past day, defying the broader market downtime.
GPS Added to Binance’s HODLer Airdrop for BNB Holders
Notably, Binance has added GPS to its HODLer Airdrop program, which rewards BNB holders based on their past BNB balances. The eligibility period for this airdrop ran from February 19 to February 24, 2025.

Users who put BNB into Simple Earn (Flexible or Locked) or On-Chain Yields during this time will automatically get GPS tokens before trading begins.
Binance noted that users must complete account verification (KYC) and reside in an eligible jurisdiction to participate. However, those who use their BNB holdings as collateral for Binance loans will not qualify for the rewards.
Tokenomics: Supply & Future Plans for GPS
The GoPlus Security (GPS) token has a total supply of 10 billion. At the time of listing, 1.81 billion tokens, representing 18.1% of the total supply, will be in circulation.

Binance has allocated 300 million GPS, 3% of the total supply, for the HODLer Airdrops. An additional 400 million GPS tokens have been set aside for marketing campaigns, which will commence six months after the token’s listing.
The GPS smart contract operates on the Base network and has been assigned the address “0x0c1dc…a0dca5.”
Binance’s Long-Term Backing of GoPlus Security
Binance’s association with GoPlus Security dates back to December 2022. At that time, Binance Labs headed a private funding round to support the company’s Web3 security work.
However, the exchange did not participate in GoPlus’s earlier funding round in April 2022. With Binance listing GPS and the airdrop, GPS may now see more interest from investors.
