2024 Crypto Survey Highlights

CryptoQuant’s 2024 Crypto Survey found that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Layer 2 projects are the most popular among investors. However, the survey also indicated that artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain integrations are becoming increasingly important for innovation and investment.

The survey also revealed that 76% of participants prefer spot trading over other crypto products and services, such as derivatives and staking. Interestingly, “Earn” products, offered by many exchanges, remain unpopular. Only 28% of users said they use these products.

Finally, the survey found that “Do Your Own Research” (DYOR) is the most common approach to crypto investing. This suggests that the market and its participants have matured. Most crypto users are young, experienced, and educated. 60% are between 25 and 44 years old, and 62% have more than three years of experience in the industry.
