Bitcoin (BTC), the top cryptocurrency by market cap, has recovered from its dip below $53,000, reclaiming the $54,000 level and aiming higher even as altcoins display mixed movement. The overall market sentiment remains “neutral” with low buying volume for most digital assets.
According to the data from CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin is up 0.65%, trading at 54,823.99 with a 19.85% surge in the trading volume, which stands at $21 billion. Further, the market valuation of the leading digital asset is $1.082 trillion as BTC’s dominance stands at 55.7%.

In the past 24 hours, BTC reached a high of $55,373.32 while rebounding from a low of $53,653.76. The cryptocurrency is, however, down 25.67% from its all-time high of $75,750 witnessed in March this year.
Altcoin Performance: A Mixed Bag

And while Bitcoin struggles to reclaim the $60,000 mark, except for TON, altcoins including SOL, SUI, and POL were also unable to print higher highs in the current crypto market ambiguity.
SOL, the native token of the Solana blockchain, is down 0.34%, trading at $127.67, despite a 27.48% increase in trading volume, now at $1.5 billion. The sixth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, currently at $59.7 billion, has rebounded from a 24-hour low of $126.81 to a high of $131.52. However, it remains over 50% down from its all-time high of $260.06 set during the 2021 bull run.
TON, The Open Network’s digital asset, reflected an impressive 4.31% gains in the current market lull, trading at $4.90 with a market cap of $12.4 billion. The altcoin reclaimed the 10th spot by valuation and surpassed Cardano (ADA) after being overthrown from the top 10 by the latter. The trading volume of TON rose 35.44% and currently stands at $205 million.
SUI and POL have been sluggish, with SUI dropping 1.89% in the past 24 hours and POL down 0.02%. POL is currently trading at $0.3747, while SUI is at $0.9055.
