Leading crypto exchange Bitget has officially launched the second year of its Anti-Scam Month campaign, a global initiative to raise awareness about the escalating threat of crypto fraud.
According to recent reports, crypto-related scams resulted in losses exceeding $9.9 billion in 2024 alone; that figure marks a troubling 24% annual increase since 2020. This alarming trend is fueled by increasingly sophisticated scams leveraging AI-generated deception and advanced social engineering techniques.
“Smarter Eyes, Stronger Shields”
Under the theme “Smarter Eyes, Stronger Shields,” Bitget’s campaign flips the narrative from fear to empowerment. The initiative features an interactive Anti-Scam Hub microsite, gamified educational content, and the “Smarter Eyes Challenge” mini game.
The campaign includes a multi-part Security Blog Series and a social media movement called “PFP Smarter Glasses” to foster vigilance within the crypto community.

Bitget Teams with Top Security Experts, Web3 Platforms for Wider Reach
