Bitget Deepens MotoGP Partnership With ‘Smarter Speed Challenge’ at Catalunya GP

Last Updated:
Bitget has launched its "Smarter Speed Challenge" as part of its Web3 fan experience at the MotoGP in Catalunya.
  • Bitget hosted Web3 fan activities at the Catalunya Grand Prix from Sept. 5–7.
  • Jorge Lorenzo introduced the Smarter Speed Challenge, offering global rewards.
  • The campaign runs through mid-November with ongoing prizes and races.

Global crypto exchange Bitget brought Web3 activities to the Catalunya Grand Prix in Barcelona from September 5 to 7. The event featured racing simulators, interactive games, and rewards, marking another step in the company’s growing partnership with MotoGP.

Fan Booth at the Circuit

Bitget installed a 360-degree fan booth inside the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Visitors lined up to try a professional MotoGP simulator, join digital challenges, and capture photos with real racing machines. The booth connects motorsport fans with crypto culture through immersive activities.

The “Smarter Speed Challenge” with Jorge Lorenzo

A major highlight was the launch of Bitget’s Smarter Speed Challenge, introduced by former MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo. The campaign is a global virtual racing mini-game running through mid-November.

Participants competed in online races, collected leaderboard points, and unlocked prizes. Rewards include cash, coupons, and MotoGP 2026 VIP passes.

The top winner from the Catalunya event received an all-expenses-paid trip to meet Lorenzo at TOKEN2049 in Singapore this October.

Partnerships With Motorsport Figures

To extend its presence beyond the racetrack, Bitget collaborated with well-known motorsport figures and content creators. These included MotoGP commentator Nico Abad, driver Christine GZ, former rider Rubén Xaus, and creators Rotren and Ubietoo.

Fans who engaged in these events gained access to giveaways, including tickets for future races, entry into the MotoGP 2025 virtual game championship, and opportunities to meet motorsport personalities.

Bitget’s chief executive officer, Gracy Chen, said the initiative reflects the shared drive of MotoGP and the company. “The spirit of MotoGP is all about pushing the limits, technically, mentally, emotionally. That same spirit is what drives Bitget,” Chen said.

The company stated the Catalunya event was designed to make digital finance more engaging while remaining connected to fans’ real-world interests.

Notably, the Catalunya event follows earlier appearances at the Italian and German Grand Prix. With the Smarter Speed Challenge continuing until mid-November, Bitget plans to keep fans active through daily check-ins, virtual laps, and prize opportunities.
