In a move to enhance liquidity in the spot market and elevate user trading experiences, prominent exchange Bitget has embarked on a major upgrade to its spot liquidity incentive program.

According to an update on its official website, the revamped program is set to launch on August 1, 2024. As of now, Bitget is actively recruiting competent market makers to join its ranks to propel market prosperity.

The upgraded program offers a range of perks, including access to low-interest rates on over-allocated funds, flexible repayment options, and multi-coin institutional lending services. Top-performing market makers will also enjoy prioritized quote ranking, with the top 25% of participants receiving special benefits.

Notably, the program features a tiered system, with five tiers offering varying levels of benefits and fees. Market makers can climb the tiers by meeting specific volume and quoting requirements. The highest tier, Tier 1, offers a maker fee of -0.012% and a taker fee of 0.0256%.

In addition to the fee structure, the program offers a range of benefits, including increased API frequency limits, VIP lines, and sub-account management. Market makers can also expect to receive daily reports and automatic tier adjustments on the first day of every calendar month.

To qualify for the program, market makers must meet specific assessment criteria, including a minimum maker rate of 75% and a minimum trading volume. The assessment cycle runs on a monthly basis, with daily reports provided to participants.

Bitget has emphasized that market maker accounts are not eligible to participate in other rebate programs, such as the Referral Program and KOL program, and cannot participate in the BGB service fee deduction project. With the launch of this upgraded program, Bitget aims to propel market prosperity and development, providing a more robust and attractive trading environment for its users.
