The Deep Dive into Blockchain (DDiB) is a three-week international summer school hosted by the University of Zurich’s Faculty of Business, Economics, and Informatics. It offers students a structured and interdisciplinary study of blockchain technology from legal, technical, and economic perspectives.

The scholarship program falls under Bitget’s $10 million Blockchain4Youth (B4Y) initiative, which seeks to make blockchain education more accessible. Launched in 2023, B4Y has since aimed to close educational gaps and create new career pathways in Web3 for students around the world.

“This collaboration reflects our shared vision of fostering innovation, diversity, and global talent in the Web3 space,” said Prof. Dr. Claudio J. Tessone, Director of the UZH Blockchain Center.

Bitget’s sponsorship goes beyond financial support. The partnership also promotes active knowledge-sharing between academia and industry.

Bitget COO to Lead Masterclass

As part of the program, Bitget Chief Operating Officer Vugar Usi Zade will lead a masterclass. His session will provide students with direct insights from an industry executive on blockchain’s real-world applications and challenges.

“This scholarship isn’t just about learning blockchain—it’s about equipping future leaders with tools to question, build, and improve the space,” Usi Zade said. He emphasized the importance of cross-disciplinary thinking in shaping the future of technology.
