Cryptillian Payment Systems, an online digital wallet service for customers and businesses, has joined in solidarity to file an Amicus Brief to defend Ripple in the SEC vs. XRP lawsuit.

Cryptillian Payment in its filings said that they accept XRP for its payments and the token is the second most popular crypto utilized by its app.

According to the statement made by Cryptillian Payment in its filings:

Cryptillian’s interest in the case stems from the fact that one of the six digital assets that it allows its Cardholders to store and transfer to its Merchants is the token XRP

Cryptillian has reported investing significant time, effort, and financial resources to allow the processing of XRP transactions on its platform. Cryptillian marks as the 11th entity to file an Amicus Brief for Ripple. Some of the earlier entities were the Chamber of Digital Commerce, I-Remit, TapJets, Spend the Bits, ICAN, Blockchain Association, John E Deaton, Coinbase, Crypto Council of Innovation, and Valhil Capital.

The crypto Twitter community speculates that the SEC will take some days per amicus to respond, which will keep prolonging the judgment.

In other news, a congressman from Minnesota, Tom Emmer, said on this Twitter account that Chair Gary Gensler’s regime at the SEC has been characterized by regulatory hypocrisy and inconsistency. He accused Gensler of not holding himself to the same transparency standards that he places on the private sector. A journalist, Eleanor Terrett, added that Gensler’s off-channel communication has been part of agency culture for years.
