According to the blockchain and cryptocurrency educator Ivan Lijeqvist, Binance will make moves that will trigger a pump in the altcoin market this July. In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, Lijeqvist observed the newly launched ARKM token sale on the Binance Launchpad as one of the moves that will trigger the altcoin pump.
According to Lijeqvist, looking at the top cryptocurrencies on CoinmarketCap shows a relatively insignificant movement, except for BNB, which gained about 6% on its trading price. BNB’s rally followed the Binance announcement on the launch of the ARKM token sale.
Lijeqvist highlighted that the return of the Binance Launchpad would generate significant hype that would trigger a price surge across several altcoins. According to him, the altcoin market only needs some new projects to perform well, noting it as the usual pattern that precedes a bull run. Lijeqvist said:
You cannot have a bull market start without a few projects kicking off, doing extremely well, and making their investors rich.
In his analysis, Lijeqvist referred to the DeFi summer of 2020 when Compound (COMP) performed impressively to trigger an altcoin season. According to him, the excitement to launch new projects is a prerequisite for the altcoin season to kick off, and that is what Binance is doing.
Lijeqvist further explained that new projects that trigger the altcoin season do not require to be big. They only need to trigger other launches and generate the necessary entropy the industry needs for the market to surge.
ARKM has faced criticism on crypto Twitter, but Lijeqvist thinks that does not matter much in the overall scheme. According to him, the most significant factor remains the trigger effect that the launch would bring. He believes Binance will play a major role by releasing multiple projects on its Launchpad.
