Elon Musk has revealed the branding for his proposed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on X (formerly Twitter), confirming the Shiba Inu, a symbol closely tied to Dogecoin, as the department’s official mascot.

The announcement followed Musk’s recent legal win in a U.S. court, which dismissed accusations that he and Tesla misled investors through their promotion of Dogecoin. The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that Musk’s social media statements—such as calling Dogecoin the future currency of Earth—were aspirational, not deceptive.

Musk and Tesla had been accused of participating in a pump-and-dump scheme and insider trading regarding Dogecoin. However, the court found these allegations unsupported due to insufficient evidence.

Following this legal outcome, Musk has continued his vocal support for Dogecoin, maintaining its position as a leading memecoin. This ruling further solidifies Musk’s impact on the cryptocurrency market and underscores his ability to shape public perception through his online presence.

Musk and Trump: A Collaboration for Government Efficiency?

Elon Musk’s branding announcement comes amid his increasing involvement in U.S. political conversations. Former President Donald Trump recently expressed plans to create a government efficiency commission, crediting Musk’s ideas as an inspiration.

Trump proposed that Musk should lead this commission, which would evaluate federal agencies and suggest ways to cut waste, fraud, and improper use of taxpayer money.

During a speech at the Economic Club of New York, Trump emphasized that improper payments and fraud cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars each year. He pledged to implement reforms within six months of re-election, including a promise to cut ten existing regulations for every new one introduced.

Responding to Trump’s proposal, Musk posted on X, stating his willingness to serve the nation without pay or official recognition. “I’m eager to help America if the opportunity arises,” Musk wrote.
