Travel giants Emirates and Dubai Duty Free have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Crypto.com to enable digital payment solutions for travelers.
In a recent announcement, HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authorities, stated that the partnership agreement “represents a promising step towards our shared ambition to transform travel and commerce.”
According to Al Maktoum, exploring advanced digital payment solutions will enhance travelers’ experience at every touchpoint. The Dubai aviation chief highlighted that the implementation will cover every payment routine, from bookings to retail. He further noted that the recently signed MoU aligns with Dubai’s D33 agenda to strengthen the city’s position as a global hub for innovation and the Smart Economy.
