The on-chain analysis platform known as Glassnode took to Twitter early this morning to share some information about non-zero Ethereum (ETH) addresses. According to the post, the number of ETH non-zero addresses just reached an all-time high of 91,289,731. In other words, there are now more addresses than ever before holding at least some amount of Ethereum.
As the name suggests, non-zero addresses are essentially wallets that contain even the smallest fraction of a cryptocurrency, in this case, Ethereum.
Things are looking much greener for the crypto market today, and Ethereum is no exception to this. ETH’s more than 4% price increase over the last 24 hours has earned it a spot in CoinMakretCap’s trending list. The crypto market tracking website reports that the altcoin is now trading at $1,321.55 after reaching a high of $1,341.44 and a low of $1,258.47 over the last day.
Looking at ETH’s longer time frames, things are also looking pretty good as the crypto is in the green by about 5.40% over the last week and up by more than 8% over the last thirty days.
The altcoin also managed to strengthen against its biggest competitor in the market, Bitcoin (BTC) by about 4.21%. Also in the green is ETH’s 24-hour trading volume which currently stands at $8,767,852,264 after a double-digit increase of more than 84%. In terms of market cap, ETH currently stands at about $161,772,819,518.
