Evernorth and Doppler Finance have entered into a strategic collaboration to support institutional liquidity and treasury use cases on the XRP Ledger.

Evernorth, an XRP-focused digital asset treasury firm backed by Ripple and SBI Holdings, said the work centres on designing and testing frameworks for deploying XRP capital onchain through structured treasury and liquidity models.

The collaboration brings Evernorth together with Doppler Finance, which provides onchain infrastructure for XRP-based finance. The companies said their work covers institutional liquidity deployment, treasury management use cases, and the operational and technical systems required to support sustained activity on the XRP Ledger.

In addition, Ripple Chief Executive Brad Garlinghouse has been named a strategic adviser to Evernorth, alongside Ripple executives Stuart Alderoty and David Schwartz. The appointments are intended to strengthen coordination with the XRP ecosystem while maintaining Evernorth’s operational independence.

Industry Reaction

XRP supporter and lawyer Bill Morgan said the initiative stood out for its focus on institutional liquidity and treasury activity rather than speculative trading.

He said the move was consistent with Evernorth’s previously stated goal of supporting projects that expand XRP’s real-world utility, and contrasted it with the more limited institutional use cases currently associated with Bitcoin.

“Is Strategy doing anything like this with Bitcoin?” he questioned.

Positioning XRP for Regulated Use

Evernorth Chief Executive Asheesh Birla said XRP was built for regulated, real-time financial activity rather than congestion-heavy networks or purely investment-driven narratives.

The partnership also includes joint communication efforts and market-facing initiatives, alongside plans to expand into new regions. The companies said they aim to attract both institutional and retail participants over time, while reinforcing confidence in financial products built directly on the XRP Ledger.

Rox, head of institutions at Doppler Finance, said aligning institutional capital with structured infrastructure could help position XRP as a scalable asset within global markets.
