MTT Sports has successfully hosted 15 consecutive weeks of free tournaments, awarding a total of 15 Bitcoin.
MTT Sports is an innovative esports tournament platform dedicated to promoting the inclusion of the MTT project in the Olympics. The platform is currently running a 100-week-long championship series, offering 1 Bitcoin as the weekly prize, with a total prize pool valued at approximately $10 million.
What makes this competition truly special is that it is entirely free to participate in—players don’t need to pay any fees. Each week, the top 48 players win Bitcoin prizes.
On January 14, during the 15th week of the championship, several exciting developments unfolded.
This week marked a significant breakthrough for Ukraine, as the nation celebrated its first tournament trophy. Ukrainian player “Стас” emerged victorious in the intense competition, claiming the top spot and winning 0.35 BTC.
Heading into the finals, “Стас” was ranked 38th, sitting in the middle of the leaderboard. However, through exceptional performance and brilliant strategy, he staged a remarkable comeback to secure the championship title for the week.
In addition to Ukraine’s success, Brazil also achieved a milestone this week. Brazilian player “Tclgustavo” finished in 8th place, becoming the first Brazilian player to break into the prize pool and win BTC.
Looking at the overall prize distribution, Thai players continued to dominate the leaderboard. This week, 17 Thai players made it into the prize pool, far surpassing Russia, which ranked second with 8 players. So far, 141 Thai players have won Bitcoin through the weekly tournaments, accounting for 34.55% of all prize spots.
To date, MTT Sports has awarded 15 BTC, with 85 BTC still up for grabs in the weeks to come.
