On February 3, the 18th week of the MTT Sports BTC Weekly Tournament concluded successfully. MTT Sports is committed to building a groundbreaking esports competition platform, with the ultimate goal of bringing the MTT project to the Olympics. As part of this mission, the platform is hosting free weekly tournaments, each with a 1 BTC prize pool, for a total of 100 weeks. The top 48 players in each tournament share the BTC rewards.

The Week 18 BTC Tournament saw an impressive turnout of 24,000 participants. In the end, Russian player “Vrayr” emerged victorious, claiming the championship title and securing 0.35 BTC. With Vrayr’s win, Russia achieved back-to-back championship victories in the tournament.

The competition saw an intense three-way battle for dominance in the prize zone. Thailand continued to lead in prize placements, with 10 players making it into the payout ranks. Russia followed closely with 7 players, while Ukraine secured 5 spots. Together, these three countries accounted for half of this week’s prize winners.

This week also marked a historic milestone in the tournament. German female player “gospojafortuna” finished 17th, earning a BTC payout. Remarkably, she had already made it into the prize pool on January 27, finishing 26th. This achievement makes her the first player in tournament history to secure BTC rewards twice, setting a new record. Across both tournaments, “gospojafortuna” has earned BTC rewards equivalent to approximately $1,000.

Additionally, Lithuanian player “Puplar” secured third place, achieving the best-ever result for Lithuania in the tournament.

All prizes for this week have been successfully distributed. With 82 BTC still up for grabs in the upcoming weeks, MTT Sports will continue to deliver real and rewarding free-to-enter tournaments.
