- Key crypto leaders confirmed for the White House summit, including Saylor and Armstrong.
Growing anticipation for the White House Crypto Summit, scheduled for March 7, 2025, is palpable in the crypto market. The summit, billed as a key event for the future of U.S. crypto policy, has raised questions since Cardano’s co-founder, Charles Hoskinson, is absent from the list of invitees.
A White House source confirmed to Unchained that Charles Hoskinson and the Cardano team will not participate in the summit discussions.
The source further clarified that Cardano had not been involved in policy talks or meetings with the administration. A White House source mentioned that Cardano is actively promoting its position but is not involved in efforts to influence policy, nor was it invited to the summit on Friday.
Trump’s ADA Mention Contrasts Hoskinson’s Summit Exclusion
Hoskinson’s absence is unexpected after recent comments from U.S. President Donald Trump. On Sunday, Trump acknowledged the ADA token as a part of a possible U.S. crypto reserve, fueling speculation that Hoskinson would play a role in the summit. Despite this, Hoskinson’s name is missing from the official list of attendees.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump outlined plans for a U.S. crypto reserve, including ADA alongside other digital assets like XRP and Solana. This has led to widespread speculation that Hoskinson’s absence may be due to political dynamics.
