The crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, who has faced a vast amount of backlash over the past few weeks for joining BEN Coin (BEN), was recently interviewed by Altcoin Daily. In the interview, he shared his enthusiasm for BEN, which has been labeled by many as a scam project.
The controversial influencer also explained the project’s tokenomics and its utility. He even went as far as to predict that the crypto will soon be a top 20 project in the Web3 space.
His top 20 prediction comes after the token made its way to the top 300 cryptos list in just 3 days following its launch on 8 May 2023. According to BitBoy, the majority of the project’s activities and operations will be internally funded by its liquidity pool, which the project will generate revenue from in the form of trading fees.
Together with the liquidity pool, there will be a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) wherein BEN holders will be able to vote on how the revenue is spent. The influencer stated that the project’s governance is expected to roll out in the next month.
To protect investors, the project’s team members will only be allowed to sell their BEN tokens once the project reaches a combined market cap of $500 million, according to the influencer. Furthermore, the internal team’s trading volume will be restricted to 1.5% of the total daily trading volume for BEN.
CoinGecko indicated that the crypto’s ranking had dropped after making its way into the top 300 list. At press time, BEN was ranked at number 540 on the list of the biggest cryptos by market cap, with a total market cap of $31,189,390.
The altcoin was also trading at $0.000000073452 after it had printed a 1.3% loss over the past 24 hours. In addition to weakening against the dollar, BEN also weakened against Bitcoin (BTC) by 0.2%. It was, however, up 0.2% against Ethereum (ETH).
