KuCoin, a leading global crypto exchange, is set to launch the 26th Spotlight Token Sale featuring IMVU (VCORE). This exciting opportunity offers projects the chance to be selected as part of KuCoin Spotlight, joining the ranks of other successful projects that have benefited from this prestigious platform.
KuCoin Spotlight has previously showcased top projects, giving them increased visibility and access to a large and engaged user base. Being selected by KuCoin provides projects with a unique opportunity to gain recognition and attract opportunities within the crypto community.
Now, IMVU (VCORE) has been chosen to participate in the Spotlight Token Sale.
The VCORE token, developed by MetaJuice, IMVU’s blockchain division, aims to enhance the IMVU metaverse by leveraging blockchain technology. The token will be crucial in the IMVU metaverse economy, game/social play reward system, NFT minting, purchasing, earning payments, and community-led governance.
The Spotlight Token Sale is scheduled for June 16, 2023, at 00:00 (UTC) and will be operated in a Hold & Gain Lottery Tickets format.
The hard cap for sale is set at $250,000, with a total allocation of 40,000,000 VCORE tokens. There will be 2,500 winning tickets in the lottery, and each user is eligible for a maximum of one winning ticket.
The VCORE tokens awarded to each winning ticket will be 16,000 VCORE, equivalent to $100. The sale price for 1 VCORE will be $0.00625, and the price ratio of KuCoin Token (KCS) will be announced on the day of the Token Sale.
Users must hold a daily average of at least 10 KCS in their accounts to participate in the token sale. The number of tickets awarded to each user depends on their KCS holdings, ranging from one ticket for holdings between 10 and 50 KCS to 15 tickets for holdings of 1,000 KCS or more.
Sub-accounts cannot participate independently, but the tokens held in sub-accounts will be combined with the master account’s holdings to calculate the average daily holdings.
Users who meet the eligibility criteria and successfully participate in the VCORE Spotlight Token Sale can earn additional tickets, up to a maximum of 10, by completing simple tasks. These tasks will be detailed on the KuCoin platform.
The token sale timeline is as follows: the subscription period will run from June 16, 2023, to June 19, 2023 (UTC), during which hourly snapshots of users’ holdings will be taken.
The ticket calculation will occur on June 19, 2023, with the lottery ticket announcement scheduled for 07:00 (UTC) on June 19, 2023. The lottery ticket draw result will be announced at 14:00 (UTC) on the same day.
Token distribution will occur from 02:00 to 09:00 (UTC) on June 20, 2023, and users’ KCS holdings will be deducted accordingly to distribute the VCORE tokens.
It is important to note that participants must complete Level 3 Identification Verification (Face Verification) before June 19, 2023 (UTC) to be eligible for the token sale.
