L1 Terra Classic Task Force (L1TF) lead developer is back with new updates about the project, and the crypto community on Twitter is pleased to hear from him. On August 9, developer Vinh Nguyen released a report detailing the outcomes of sprint #1 and the upcoming arrangements for the significant v2.2.0 core enhancement.

A former L1TF member known as “Frag,” who was tagged by Nguyen in the comment section, expressed their gratitude to Nguyen for sharing a written account of the advancements and future strategies concerning the Terra Luna Classic blockchain. Meanwhile, another user questioned if there is a timeline for “Astroport fixing.”

Nguyen, who is responsible for Testing Astroport governance assembly functionality post upgrade, answered that the resolution of issues with the Astroport classic front-end is contingent upon approval from Delphi Labs, as they hold ownership of it and it hasn’t been made open source. However, Nguyen noted that a developer from Astroport is currently addressing the matter actively.

As reported in the Commonwealth forum, the sprint has now been made open source, enabling the community to access real-time updates regarding tasks and additional progress accomplished by the developer team.

In recent days, the L1TF has been engaged in implementing changes based on community-approved proposals, addressing issues encountered by DApps, and maintaining the integrity of the blockchain.

For sprint #2, the L1TF is gearing up for the v2.2.0 upgrade, encompassing the integration of Cosmos SDK v46, the migration to CometBFT, and the utilization of IBC – go v6. This upgrade is intended to tackle a multitude of chain-related concerns and ensure a stable environment. Additionally, the upgrade encompasses proposals beyond the first layer and fixes for the smart contract module (wasmd).
