- BITMAC blends equities, bonds, gold, and Bitcoin to simplify diversified investing.
- Quarterly rebalancing helps investors avoid trend-chasing and manage market volatility.
- Retail access starts at $100, making sophisticated multi-asset strategies more reachable.
Mashreq Capital launched a new investment product that aims to reshape retail access to multi asset strategies. The firm launched BITMAC, a fund that blends traditional assets with exposure to Bitcoin through exchange traded products. The initiative comes as investors across the MENA region look for broader diversification and more disciplined entry points into digital assets.
Mashreq Capital aims to offer a solution that supports disciplined investing while addressing the growing interest in balanced portfolios that can manage volatility. The new fund seeks to bridge the gap between retail needs, institutional discipline, and rising interest in alternative assets.

BITMAC Blends Equities, Bonds, Gold, And Bitcoin In One Portfolio
According to the press release, BITMAC combines global equities, global fixed income, gold, and Bitcoin within one allocation framework.
The strategy is to hold 90% in equities and fixed income, 5% in gold, and 5% in Bitcoin. Additionally, the portfolio follows quarterly rebalancing. It buys when allocations fall below targets and sells when they exceed them.
This structure helps investors avoid trend-chasing behavior, which remains a common challenge during periods of market stress. Besides, the fund lowers the complexity often linked to digital asset exposure by placing it within a simple, regulated mutual fund.
The minimum investment stands at $100, allowing retail investors to enter a strategy usually crafted for more sophisticated participants. Consequently, this supports broader access to diversified portfolios during a time of rising demand for alternative investment vehicles.
Low Minimums Bring Multi Asset Strategy To MENA Retail Investors
Mashreq Capital’s CEO, Philip Philippides, explained the motivation behind the initiative. He said, “Retail investors can find it challenging to balance their risk appetite and asset allocation choices,” noting that the complexity increases when digital assets enter the mix.
He added that “BITMAC is one of the first funds globally to include Bitcoin alongside traditional investments.” Philippides said the structure offers a single solution that supports better discipline and risk control.
Moreover, the launch reinforces the firm’s broader strategy to expand innovative products across the region. It also aligns with a shift toward portfolios that capture both long-term growth and stability across different cycles. Hence, BITMAC enters the market as a timely instrument for investors who want exposure to evolving themes without abandoning balanced principles.
