- Strategy has accelerated its Bitcoin purchases and currently holds 649,870 BTCs.
Michael Saylor has reminded Bitcoin (BTC) investors that volatility is a gift from Satoshi Nakamoto. In an interview with CoinDesk, Saylor reaffirmed his belief in the long-term success of Bitcoin, fueled by strong capital from institutional investors amid unwavering support from the United States government under President Donald Trump.
Strategy Buys the Bitcoin Dip
Amid the ongoing crypto bearish outlook, which has seen Bitcoin price drop to as low as around $80k, Saylor noted that Strategy remained focused on adding its holdings. During the interview, Saylor disclosed that the company purchased BTCs valued at over $100 million on Monday, November 17, 2025. As such, Strategy is likely to report another mega Bitcoin purchase later today.
Saylor has reminded Strategy’s shareholders that it is key to understand their risk tolerance before purchasing any of its credit instruments. Furthermore, a credit investor has a different expectation than a capital and equity investor.
The serial entrepreneur reminded the crypto community that Strategy continued to purchase more Bitcoins during the height of the 2022 bear market and will continue with the trend ahead. Moreover, Saylor believes that Strategy is well-positioned to shape the future of finance through Bitcoin.
A Message to JPMorgan
Saylor has slammed JPMorgan’s report that Strategy may lack key funding from major stock indexes for dropping below its 1 mNAV. According to JPMorgan, Strategy may suffer a $2.8 billion loss from the MSCI Index automatic outflows if the deal goes south.
In the interview, Saylor said that the claimant is an alarmist who does not believe in digital treasury companies. According to Saylor, Strategy is building a robust Bitcoin-backed treasury credit instrument, which investors willing to hold for 10 years will benefit from significantly.
Saylor has reminded JPMorgan that Strategy has raised more than $7.7 billion in 2025 through its Bitcoin-backed treasury credit instrument. Furthermore, Strategy has completed five public offerings of digital credit securities – including STRK, STRF, STRD, STRC, and STRE.
Most importantly, Saylor noted that Strategy is an operating company, which has a strong financial position. Further mentioned that its Bitcoin plan is backed by regulatory clarity in the United States, and globally amid the mainstream adoption of digital assets.
“Strategy is not a fund, not a trust, and not a holding company. We’re a publicly traded operating company with a $500 million software business and a unique treasury strategy that uses Bitcoin as productive capital,” Saylor noted.
