Official Launch Will Take Place In October
The National Autonomous University of Honduras, Five HN and CriptoLatin- Fest signed a Letter of Understanding in order to explore the various applications of Blockchain technology and a large hackathon.
The blockchain is a decentralized digital record of transactions shared among a network that is immu- table or unchangeable. It uses something called “distributed ledger technology.” While a hackathon is a meeting of programmers in which they seek, through their collaborative work, to provide an answer to a challenge or technical problem of an organization in record time.

To present this experience, the UNAH, the Crypto Latin Fest and FIVEHN have come together to
present an unprecedented experience in the region: “The Crypto Latin Fest 2024”.
This event, which will take place in Honduras on October 10 and 11 and will be attended by more than 20,000 people, will offer a comprehensive space that will include seminars, workshops and opportunities to explore the various applications of Blockchain technology and a large hackathon.
The collaboration between Cripto Latin Fest, FIVEHN and UNAH, has as its main objective not only to make Honduras the host of the most prominent crypto event in the region in 2024, but also to focus on financial innovation through transformative experiences.
During the Cripto Latin Fest 2024, these leading entities will share their knowledge and efforts to develop initiatives that drive understanding and education about Blockchain technology in the region, in addition to fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas among professionals and enthusiasts.
Cripto Latin Fest 2024 not only aspires to be the most prominent crypto event, but also seeks to play a key role in educating and inspiring the population through disruptive experiences.
FIVEHN, UNAH and Cripto Latin Fest share the vision of fostering collaboration and education in Central America, thus consolidating an event that will mark a milestone in the technological landscape of the región.
