- Token Unlocks data indicates that multiple unlocking events worth more than $10 million are scheduled for this month.

Several large token unlock events will take place in the next 30 days. According to the tokenomics tracking platform Token Unlocks, Sui (SUI), Immutable (IMX), Aptos (APT), Apecoin (APE), Axie Infinity (AXS), and Optimism (OP) all have token unlock events scheduled for this October with the value of the unlocks totaling more than $10 million.
The next unlock will take place on 3 October 2023 and will see 34.62 million SUI tokens released. The tokenomics platform indicated that the unlock is valid at $16.21 million. Furthermore, the SUI that will be released makeup 4.37% of the cryptocurrency’s supply ratio.
Just 4 days later, on 7 October 2023, 18.08 million IMX tokens will be unlocked. With a valuation of $10.71 million, the amount of IMX in this event is estimated to be around 1.55% of IMX’s current circulating supply.
Thereafter, 4.54 million APT tokens and 25.6 million APE tokens will be unlocked. The APT unlock event is scheduled for 12 October 2023 and is estimated to be worth $24.94 million – making it the third largest unlock event that is set to take place this month. Meanwhile, 15.6 million APE will be released on 17 October 2023.
Most notably, AXS is set to have the largest unlock event in October. According to data from Token Unlocks, 15.13 million AXS tokens will be released. This will be around 11.50% of the cryptocurrency’s current circulating supply. Furthermore, the unlock event is the largest in terms of its Dollar value, as the amount of tokens that will be released will be worth $69.58 million.
Last but not least, OP has an unlock event scheduled for 30 October 2023. This event will see 24.16 million tokens introduced into the altcoin’s circulation, which is approximately 3.03% of OP’s current circulating supply. This is the second largest unlock for October, with a Dollar valuation of $32.86 million.
