1- Please introduce yourself and your projects to us.
My name is Mert Mamo and I am the Senior Product Manager at LYOPAY
LYOPAY is an ecosystem of crypto products. It has introduced a whole new way of using cryptocurrency through its ecosystem composed of future-oriented products and solutions that allow everyone to use cryptocurrency in their daily transactions, including LYOTRADE, a centralized cryptocurrency exchange with a high liquidity system; LYOTRAVEL, a platform where users can buy flight tickets and book hotel rooms with Bitcoin and altcoins; LYOTECH, a research and development company that develops software and hardware products, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smartwatches; LYOMERCHANT, a payment gateway enabling merchants to accept cryptocurrencies as payments.
2- How does blockchain integrate or connect to your project?
Blockchains are best known for their crucial role in cryptocurrency ecosystems for maintaining a secure and decentralized record of transactions. The innovation of a blockchain is that it guarantees the fidelity and security of a record of data and generates trust without the need for a trusted third party. LYOPAY Ecosystem is entirely built using blockchain technology.
3- What do you think about the metaverse and other things that connect to the metaverse space?
Metaverse is the future, today all the games are shifting to Metaverse which means that all the new generation will be directly connected to it and probably its use will multiply. This will make all the companies from all fields want to be part of it.
4- What are the new projects you see on the horizon? Are there any projects you are planning to venture into?
I had a chance to visit many booths during the Future Blockchain Summit and I was amazed by one of them, it is called Zenit.world and it is a CeDiFi ecosystem where the user can take advantage of the services offered by centralized and decentralized finance in the simplest possible way. We would be happy to partner with them in the future.
5- What makes your project different from the others?
If anyone gets a chance to have a look at our website, he will see how LYOPAY ecosystem is unique and there is no similar concept in the fintech market yet. Our mission is oriented toward serving people and empowering them by creating crypto products that will make the use of crypto in their daily life easy and possible everywhere. From paying for their coffee or
groceries to booking their flight tickets and hotel rooms, LYOPAY will be everywhere.
In addition, checking our road map and the team behind the great work will give them an idea of how big and unique, and different we are.
6- Can you tell what new tech you are most excited about?
In my field, blockchain technology is the foundation, without it, cryptocurrencies would not exist. I love to read and learn more about it every day.
7- Do you have anything specific you want to share about your project or how can interested investors contact you?
The project has more than a dozen products under the same ecosystem, so explaining all of them would probably take a long time. To simplify, I can say that in my 11 years of experience, I have never seen a project grow as quickly as LYOPAY.
8- How does it feel to be part of the Dubai Blockchain Ecosystem by taking part in the 22nd edition of the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai?
I always say Dubai is one step ahead in blockchain technology and we are delighted to participate in the Future Blockchain Summit, as it provided us with an opportunity to interact with crypto enthusiasts and introduce our ecosystem to them. The convergence of so many stakeholders under one roof is very promising, and we expect a major boost through this event.
