- Kusama stated earlier this year that he would come out from the shadows by the end of 2022.
- Following this trending news, the burn rate of SHIB spiked by 69%.
Shytoshi Kusama is one of the well-known Shiba Inu developers. Similar to the founder of the Shiba Inu, Ryoshi, Kusama has amassed over 865k followers on Twitter while maintaining his anonymity. Kusama, however, intends to reveal his true identity to the SHIB Army.
A Twitter user, SHIB BPP, shared a screenshot with some intriguing information in one of his most recent tweets. The screenshot depicts a message that Kusama posted on Discord in which he claims that after speaking with his mentor, they both agreed that it would be impossible to remain invisible by the year’s end.
The date on the message was January 21, 2022, and 2022 is about to come to an end. According to the message, Kusama is likely to reveal his true identity to the community in two days.
Following this trending information and the Shibarium launch expectations, there was a 69% increase in the burn rate earlier. However, the spike in burn rate was short-lived, as it plummeted by 43.26% at press time over the last 24 hours.
Shibburn, a well-known SHIB burner, revealed the information. According to the data, only 9.3 million SHIB were sent to dead wallets during the last 24 hours. The burn rate has been on a continuous decline over the last few weeks, as opposed to November, which witnessed the burn rate soaring over 4,000%.
Shiba Inu is trading at $0.000007936 at press time with a 0.72% drop in value over the last 24 hours.
