Shibburn, the SHIB burn tracking organization, has announced the launch of another venture within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The new venture, Shib Association, would focus solely on SHIB, bringing utility and innovation to the renowned meme coin.
Shibburn announced via a recent post on Twitter, asking interested users to join the organization by following its Twitter handle, @ShibAssociation. The SHIB tracker informed users of his past efforts within the SHIB community, noting some challenges faced with running the project.
According to Shibburn, things have not turned out as expected, despite their efforts at providing information about SHIB burns to help the community. The organization’s representative noted that Shibburn has a different vision from its contemporaries, and would keep their focus solely on SHIB.
The representative recalled the early days of Shibburn as a project set up to help the Shiba Inu community. According to him, not everyone was impressed with the growing popularity of Shibburn, leading to various campaigns against the innovation. However, he noted that the project resisted all challenges and continued to thrive.
The newly launched Shib Association will include people who share the same ideas and want to work together, according to the Shibburn representative. He clarified that Shibburn and Shib Association are independent companies with different roles. According to him, while the Shib Association will not be a part of Shibburn, the existing company will contribute to the newly launched Shib Association.
One of the community members who responded to Shibburn’s announcement appeared to be more interested in the impact of the burning exercise on the price of SHIB. The respondent decried the impact of the SHIB burn on the cryptocurrency’s price. However, he commended the community and appreciated the work done so far.
