AI "Truth Terminal" Hits $3.9 Million on Solana, Becoming First AI Millionaire
  • Truth Terminal, an AI, reached a $3.9 million valuation on October 24.
  • Tokens like GOAT, Fartcoin, and Shoggoth drove the portfolio’s growth.
  • Funded by a $50,000 Bitcoin investment, the AI achieved millionaire status within months.

Truth Terminal, an AI system that received a $50,000 Bitcoin investment from Marc Andreessen, has become the first AI millionaire after its Solana portfolio reached $3.9 million on October 24. This achievement marks a major milestone in utilizing AI for cryptocurrency investments.

Truth Terminal began its investment journey three months ago. Originally expressing interest in a “token project,” the AI quickly made $500,000 trading a single Solana-based meme coin by mid-October.

Arkham Intelligence, the blockchain analytics firm, tracked Truth Terminal’s progress. On October 16, Arkham tweeted about the AI’s earnings and asked if it could become the first AI millionaire.

By October 24, Arkham reported Truth Terminal’s holdings had surged in value, driven by investments in Solana tokens like GOAT, Fartcoin, and Shoggoth, pushing its portfolio to $3.9 million.

Portfolio Breakdown and Investment Strategy

Truth Terminal’s Solana portfolio includes a variety of tokens. Leading the portfolio is GOAT, valued at $1.26 million. Following this is Fartcoin, with a valuation of $585,540. Additionally, the portfolio holds over 18 million tokens of Shoggoth, valued at $226,830. Smaller holdings in KOTO and Solana (SOL) round out the collection.

The rapid growth is due to the high volatility of these tokens, which allowed the AI to profit from price swings.

AI’s Growing Role in Crypto Trading

Truth Terminal’s success demonstrates how AI systems, leveraging vast datasets and real-time market analysis, can make high-stakes decisions free from the emotional biases that often affect human investors.

Industry leaders, including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, view Web3 as a platform that empowers AI systems to manage complex transactions and make independent decisions.
