Buterin’s book that comes with a tagline “The making of Ethereum and the Philosophy of Blockchain” reportedly consists of a compilation of his writings before and during the rise of Ethereum. According to sources within the cryptocurrency industry, it is believed that Buterin possesses a vivid and imaginative writing style.
The book mentions that while many around Buterin were interested in tokenomics and in seeing the rising value of their token, Buterin’s thoughts were elsewhere. He was more intrigued by solving problems and finding out the possibilities of creating an internet-native world.
Players within the crypto ecosystem are of varying ideas about Proof-of-Stake (PoS) . This is due to various reasons like limited knowledge of the mechanism, trust built on Proof of Work (PoW), etc. In a context like this, the publication of the book could come in quite handy to the interested parties.
The book could provide more than just the basic knowledge of PoS being more energy efficient. It could give insights about how the new mechanism would replace miners with validators, who stake a predetermined 32 Ethereum (ETH) to be eligible to publish a block, etc.
