- WebX FinTech EXPO powered by SBI Group: Held in Osaka on 22 August in partnership with SBI Holdings, the invite-only event gathered 1,000 regulators and global financial leaders – including Yoshitaka Kitao, SBI Holdings Representative Director, Chairman, President & CEO of SBI Holdings, Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, and Eiji Kobayashi, Country Head of Securitize Japan K.K., to discuss technological innovations and regulatory trends set to define the next generation of financial markets. - WebX 2025 – Main Conference, Themed Halls and Booth Area: Alongside thought-provoking discussions on stablecoins, AI, tokenization, and more spanning five key speaker stages, attendees were treated to a line-up of immersive experiences across themed halls and the booth area. The RWA Themed Hall, supported by Toyota Blockchain Lab, and the LINE NEXT Themed Hall spotlighted innovations in tokenization technology, DApps, and gaming; while interactive booths offered first-hand access to leading companies. The Web3 Salon Area also hosted VC Connect, bringing together the global crypto startup community through a series of panels, keynotes, and one-on-one meetings between investors, founders, and creators.
- The “LIGHT DANCE” Drone Show: On Day 1, 300 drones lit up the night sky above Zojoji Temple in a dazzling choreography, delivering a spectacular close to the day.
- WebX 2025 Official After Party: The conference concluded on a high note as attendees danced the night away at Zouk Tokyo. The night capped two days of high-impact programming.
This year’s attendees spanned a diverse mix of representation and job functions from creators to middle management and C-suite executives, reflecting WebX’s growing footprint.
