- Stellar blockchain facilitates cross-border payments and asset tokenization.
- WisdomTree strengthens crypto ETP leadership with institutional-grade offerings.
WisdomTree has introduced the “WisdomTree Physical Stellar Lumens ETP” in Europe, a physically backed product that holds Stellar Lumens (XLM) in reserve and tracks the spot price.
The ETP is live from today, October 14 2025, on the SIX Swiss Exchange, Euronext Paris, and Euronext Amsterdam. Trading on Deutsche Börse Xetra is scheduled to begin on October 15. The product targets professional and institutional investors who need regulated market access and clear custody standards.
Why This Matters For XLM Access
A physically backed structure reduces tracking gaps and anchors investor exposure to the underlying asset. For institutions, exchange-listed access simplifies mandates, adds venue oversight, and improves operational clarity around subscriptions and redemptions. With a 0.50% management fee, WisdomTree is positioning the ETP as a cost-efficient route to native XLM exposure in Europe.
With a management fee of just 0.50%, this ETP is listed as the lowest-cost physically-backed XLM product available in Europe. WisdomTree’s aim with this ETP is to meet the growing demand among institutional investors seeking cost-effective and regulated access to the Stellar blockchain.

Stellar Blockchain’s Role in Modern Finance
Stellar is a Layer-1 network built for cross-border payments and asset tokenization. Its consensus model, the Stellar Consensus Protocol, relies on identifiable validators and aims for fast, energy-efficient settlement.
Stellar has received major attention for its ability to bridge fiat and cryptocurrency systems, with more than 69 regulated financial institutions across 170 countries utilizing the network. These institutions leverage Stellar’s capabilities for money transfers, payments, and other financial services, highlighting the blockchain’s real-world applicability. In 2024, Stellar introduced smart contracts, further expanding its functionality in the digital finance ecosystem.
Costs, Ticker, And Trading Details
The ETP carries a 0.50% annual management fee. It is offered as a physically backed instrument with segregated custody for the underlying XLM.
The product lists under the ticker XLMW in Europe, with trading active today on SIX and Euronext and planned for Xetra on October 15. Investors should watch day-one volumes, bid-ask spreads, and any creation or redemption prints to gauge demand.
How This Fits WisdomTree’s Crypto Lineup
WisdomTree has built a multi-asset crypto ETP shelf that includes products tracking Bitcoin and Ether, and now Stellar Lumens.

The firm manages more than two billion dollars across eleven crypto ETPs and focuses on physically backed structures to meet institutional policy needs around custody, fees, and venue oversight. The XLM launch extends that playbook to payments and tokenization themes.
Bottom Line
Today’s listing is adding a regulated, physically backed route to native XLM for European institutions.
With SIX and Euronext live and Xetra following on October 15, WisdomTree is broadening the menu for cost-aware allocators who want spot-linked Stellar exposure without leaving exchange venues.
