In a recent interview with crypto YouTuber Tony Edwards, renowned cryptocurrency analyst Lark Davis listed his top five altcoin picks for the anticipated 2024 bull market.
Davis mentioned BEAM, JOE, LINK, DOT, and ILV as the top five altcoins he is bullish on going into the new year. Davis highlighted that the tokens have the potential to see upward surges based on a number of catalytic drivers.
JOE (JOE)
JOE is one of the tokens that benefited from the broader crypto market’s bullish momentum in December. In the past 30 days, the token has added 77.18% to its price, CoinMarketCap data shows. Furthermore, the token, which is the native of the decentralized exchange platform Trader Joe, has increased by 8.37% in the last seven days.
Beam (BEAM)
BEAM is the native crypto asset for the gaming network Beam network. In the past 30 days, the token has soared a whopping 105.93%. However, in the past seven days, the token has seen its momentum stall, as it slumped 6.87%. At present, the token is exchanging hands at $0.01862 apiece, data from CoinMarketCap shows.
Chainlink (LINK)
In the video, Davis stated that several catalysts will drive LINK’s upward momentum. In particular, the analyst pointed to Chainlink’s CCIP upgrade, which is expected to onboard institutional investors and change the DeFi space.
Despite the altcoin market boom, LINK’s price saw a marginal uptick of 2.77%. However, the token saw more significant gains in November and October. On the yearly chart, LINK is up 148%.
Polkadot (DOT)
CoinMarketCap’s data shows DOT is one of the altcoins that rode on the crypto market rally this December. In that period, the token added 66.6% to its price. Presently, DOT is trading at $8.66 apiece. The current price represents a 5.10% drop in the past 24 hours.
Illuvium (ILV)
ILV is an ERC-20 token used in the Illuvium gaming ecosystem for various purposes. According to Davis, the token could benefit from increased activities in the Illuvium as new games are launched and gain prominence. Presently, the token sells for $98.24, following a 6.36% in the past 24 hours, CoinMarketCap data shows.
