Web3 infrastructure provider, Ankr, recently announced that they have added Coinbase Wallet to their platform to support liquid staking. Coinbase Wallet users, with the help of the Ankr Staking platform, can earn rewards on the assets held in their Web3 wallet.
A spokesperson from Ankr highlighted that integrating the Coinbase Wallet was one of the most requested features for Ankr Staking. With Coinbase Pay, users can connect their Coinbase exchange account to the Coinbase Wallet, and then to Ankr.
Ankr’s Head of Product, Josh Neuroth, being ecstatic about the feature, said:
Having the ability to connect a Coinbase Wallet was one of the most hotly requested features for Ankr Staking, and that’s a testament to how many people find the wallet useful for interacting with Web3 and DeFi every day. We always want to ensure our stakers are pleased while opening our earning solutions to as many new participants as possible.
Apart from integrating Coinbase into its wallet, Ankr already has nine other tokens to stake on its platform. The Ankr Staking Platform supports tokens such as Ethereum (ETH), Polygon (MATIC), Binance Coin (BNB), Fantom (FTM), Avalanche (AVAX), Ankr (ANKR), and Gnosis (mGNO) for liquid staking.
To get started, users need to connect Ankr Staking to the Coinbase Wallet browser extension when prompted. Furthermore, the platform sends the freshly granted liquid staking tokens automatically from the Ankr Staking platform to the user’s Coinbase Wallet. Post that, these tokens deliver staking rewards as their balance increases. The stakers can also send their received tokens to DeFi platforms to diversify their earnings with liquidity mining opportunities and staking rewards on farmed tokens.
Additionally, Ankr offers a suite of developer tools, including the Liquid Staking SDK, Web3 Gaming SDK, and AppChains The company offers services that empower dApp developers to build Web3 apps quickly and efficiently.
In related news, Ankr recently announced it has become one of the first RPC (Remote Procedure Call) providers to Aptos. Developers can now leverage the Community and Premium RPCs on the Aptos Testnet, send requests, and get information returns that correspond to what they would get from operating an Aptos full node independently.
