Bitget Takes KCGI Beyond Crypto With 3M USDT Multi-Asset Tournament

Last Updated:
Victoria, Seychelles, August 27, 2026 — Bitget , the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has opened the 2026 King's Cup Global Invitational (KCGI), bringing crypto futures, TradFi perpetuals and tokenized U.S. stocks into its flagship trading competition for the first time. The tournament features a prize pool of up to 3 million USDT and marks KCGI's expansion from a crypto-focused competition into a multi-asset arena. This year's format reflects how trading itself has changed. Participants can compete across more than 600 crypto futures pairs, TradFi perps covering stocks, commodities and precious metals, and spot rTokens representing tokenized U.S. equities. Performance across these markets contributes to a shared PnL leaderboard, putting cross-asset strategy at the center of the competition. “KCGI has always captured one of the things that makes crypto fun: traders competing, taking views and trying to find alpha,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.“What makes this year exciting is that the playground is much bigger. Crypto, gold, stocks and other markets are increasingly sitting side by side, so bringing them into the same tournament feels like a natural expression of where trading is going. It brings TradFi convergence into the competitive culture that has always defined crypto markets.” At the center of KCGI is the UEX Arena, with up to 2 million USDT allocated across five leaderboards covering team PnL, crypto futures trading volume, TradFi perps trading volume, rToken trading volume and individual PnL. The team PnL competition carries the largest allocation at 1 million USDT. KCGI 2026 also rewards teams trading across the full spectrum. The UEX Pioneer captain reward ranks teams based on the number of qualifying members trading crypto futures, TradFi perps and rToken spot stocks. Additional rewards are available through the UEX Treasure Map, captain incentives, early-bird rewards and the tournament's closing livestream. The expanded KCGI follows Bitget's rollout of its Universal Exchange strategy throughout 2026, bringing crypto and traditional financial markets into a shared, crypto-native trading environment. The competition takes that convergence into a different setting, challenging traders to find opportunities across markets and allocate capital as conditions change. Registration opened on August 26, with the team and individual competitions running from September 9 to September 22. Final results will be announced on September 23–24, followed by an award ceremony livestream on September 25. Participation is subject to eligibility requirements and regional restrictions.
