San Salvador, El Salvador, November 3, 2026, — Bitget Wallet, a self-custodial crypto wallet for everyday finance, has launched the Bitget Wallet Card in Nigeria. The Visa card enables users to spend stablecoin balances at supported merchants worldwide and earn up to 3% cashback in crypto and tokenized assets.
The card is issued virtually through the Bitget Wallet app, with Google Pay support for online and contactless purchases. Through its Assetback program, users can choose to receive rewards in USDC, Bitcoin, gold, tokenized stocks, or ETFs, allowing everyday purchases to contribute toward savings and investment holdings.
The launch expands Bitget Wallet’s payment services in one of Africa’s leading cryptocurrency markets, where demand for dollar-denominated assets and cross-border transactions has helped drive stablecoin adoption.
“Stablecoins are becoming a practical financial tool in markets like Nigeria, but their potential goes well beyond holding or transferring digital dollars,” said Alvin Kan, Chief Operating Officer of Bitget Wallet. “The next step is making crypto useful across the entire money cycle, from receiving income and managing savings to investing and paying for everyday purchases. We’re working to make these activities part of a connected financial experience, so users can move between digital assets and the real economy without relying on multiple disconnected services.”
Beyond card spending, Bitget Wallet offers USD and EUR virtual accounts for receiving international bank transfers, with incoming funds automatically converted into stablecoins in users’ self-custodial wallets. Its local bank transfer service enables users to convert stablecoins into naira for deposits to Nigerian bank accounts. Users can also access yield-earning products, tokenized stocks, and other digital assets. Together, these services bring receiving, transferring, saving, investing, and spending into a single app.
Serving more than 100 million users globally across over 130 blockchains, Bitget Wallet continues to expand its everyday finance offerings, particularly in emerging markets. To mark the Nigeria launch, new users can participate in a rewards campaign from November 3 to 13, earning a guaranteed $2 and up to $20 through eligible Welcome Offer tasks, with a separate 2 USDC bonus for qualifying cumulative spending of at least $10 via Google Pay or Google Play.
