BlackRock’s European iShares Bitcoin ETP, trading under the ticker IB1T, has crossed $1.1 billion in assets under management, reflecting ongoing accumulation since its launch in March 2025. The product currently holds approximately 14,200 BTC, based on the latest data.
The growth trend follows continued inflows over a short period, positioning the product among the more reputable Bitcoin-linked instruments available to institutional investors in Europe.
IB1T Expands Presence Across European Exchanges
Since its introduction, IB1T has been made accessible through several major European trading markets. Its listings on Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, and Xetra have enabled broader market participation while upholding a regulated format aligned with traditional financial infrastructure.
The increase in assets under management to above $1.1 billion indicates consistent capital allocation to the product. This trend comes as exchange-traded Bitcoin assets continue to gain traction in regulated markets, offering exposure without direct custody of the underlying asset.
Bitcoin ETF Inflows Signal Continued Institutional Demand
Recent data on Bitcoin spot ETFs highlights sustained capital inflows into structured crypto products. As of May 1, cumulative net inflows reached $58.72 billion, while total assets under management stood at $103.78 billion. The trend has remained positive, with ETFs recording five consecutive weeks of inflows, including $153.87 million in the most recent week.
IBIT Maintains Lead Among Bitcoin Investment Products
Within the broader ETF market, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) continues to hold the largest share. The fund currently manages $63.81 billion in assets under management.
Other major products include Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), which holds $14.78 billion in AUM, and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which reports $11.81 billion in assets.
