Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao in another major wave within the crypto ecosystem announced a partnership with meme coin network Shiba Inu, which has since riled up excitement amongst community members.
On Wednesday, Pacquiao confirmed the partnership with Shiba Inu through a video posted on his foundation’s page. “Thank you, SHIB community, for supporting the Manny Pacquiao Foundation. We are excited about this partnership. God bless,” he said.
The partnership follows an earlier announcement from the Shiba Inu team, which hinted at a collaboration with a well-known athlete. Per the announcement, the partnership, along with a 3,000 NFT distribution, would commemorate the meme coin’s release of the second edition of The Shib Magazine.
