  • ADA reclaims $0.2183 as support, strengthening its recovery above key EMAs.
  • Falling open interest to $492.44M signals deleveraging and weaker speculative demand.
  • Persistent ADA outflows may indicate reduced selling liquidity and potential accumulation.

Cardano’s recovery is gaining attention as ADA attempts to build a stronger base above key technical levels. The token recently reclaimed the $0.2183 Fibonacci level after bouncing from the $0.19–$0.20 support zone. Meanwhile, RealFi has confirmed October 1 as the target for its Cardano mainnet launch.

ADA Regains Important Technical Ground

ADA currently trades near $0.2210 and remains above several major daily moving averages. The 20-day EMA stands at $0.2037, while the 50-day EMA sits around $0.1941.

Additionally, the 100-day EMA remains near $0.1984, supporting the broader recovery structure. However, ADA still trades below its 200-day EMA at $0.2435.

The $0.2270–$0.2300 area represents the next immediate challenge for buyers. A decisive move beyond that zone could strengthen the recovery.

Moreover, ADA could target $0.2359 before testing the $0.2435 resistance. A break above $0.2435 could expose the $0.2584 Fibonacci level.

Momentum indicators also show improvement. Stoch RSI has turned upward, with %K at 43 and %D at 28.

Falling Open Interest Signals Caution

Despite the improving chart, derivatives activity paints a more cautious picture. ADA’s open interest has contracted considerably after several major accumulation phases.

Open interest climbed above $1.8 billion between late October and January. Another buildup pushed positioning close to $2 billion between July and August.

Since then, traders have steadily reduced leveraged exposure. By September 4, open interest had dropped to approximately $492.44 million.

Hence, the decline points toward widespread deleveraging and weaker speculative participation. That trend could limit ADA’s upside unless fresh demand returns.

Spot Flows Remain Under Pressure

ADA’s spot market flows also continue to favor outflows. Red outflow bars frequently exceed green inflow readings across the observed period.

Significantly, several large outflow spikes have appeared during periods of heightened selling activity. The latest reading showed netflows near negative $1.56 million.

However, sustained outflows can also reduce readily available selling liquidity. Therefore, the trend does not automatically signal continued bearishness. Instead, investors may move ADA away from exchanges for longer-term holding or accumulation.

RealFi Adds a New Catalyst

Meanwhile, RealFi has scheduled its Cardano mainnet launch for October 1, 2026. The platform has used its Pioneer Season to test its ecosystem before launch.

More than 3,600 users have participated in the testing phase. They have completed over 40,000 quest actions on the public testnet.

Additionally, RealFi plans to continue Pioneer Season activities until the mainnet debut. The team intends to apply community feedback before the rollout.

Technical Outlook for Cardano Price

Key levels remain well-defined in September:

Upside levels: $0.2270–$0.2300 represents the immediate hurdle. A breakout could push ADA toward $0.2359 and $0.2435. Further strength could expose $0.2584.

Downside levels: $0.2183 remains the first support, followed by $0.2037 and $0.2020. A deeper correction could send ADA toward the $0.1936–$0.1941 zone.

Resistance ceiling: $0.2435, marked by the 200-day EMA, remains the key level to reclaim for stronger medium-term bullish momentum.

The technical picture suggests ADA is attempting to establish a recovery above the 0.618 Fibonacci level. However, declining open interest and persistent spot outflows show that conviction remains limited.

Will Cardano Go Up?

Cardano’s September outlook hinges on whether buyers can defend $0.2183 and challenge the $0.2270–$0.2300 resistance cluster. A decisive breakout could strengthen momentum toward $0.2359 and $0.2435.

If ADA reclaims the 200-day EMA with stronger inflows and rising open interest, the recovery could extend toward $0.2584. Conversely, losing $0.2183 could expose $0.2037 and potentially $0.1936.

For now, ADA remains at a pivotal technical juncture. The upcoming RealFi mainnet launch could provide an additional ecosystem catalyst, but stronger market participation remains crucial for a sustained upside move.
