Bitmine Immersion Technologies has surpassed 6 million Ether in its treasury, strengthening its position as the largest corporate holder of the cryptocurrency.
The company added 17,362 ETH since Sept. 21, bringing its total holdings to 6,001,302 ETH worth about $16.2 billion at current prices. Bitmine said its total assets, including crypto, cash, marketable securities and other investments, reached $17.2 billion.
The latest purchase gives Bitmine control of about 4.9% of Ethereum’s total supply. The company, chaired by Tom Lee, has bought Ether weekly since launching its treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.
Bitmine Expands Ethereum Treasury
Bitmine also held 213 Bitcoin, $672 million in cash and marketable securities, and $295 million in other investments.

The company has placed 5,067,309 ETH into staking, representing about 84% of its Ether holdings. At a reported yield of 2.62%, Bitmine estimates its staking activity generates about $358 million in annualized revenue.
Ether Strategy Drives Growth
Bitmine remains the largest corporate Ether holder, while Strategy holds 847,666 BTC in its Bitcoin treasury.
Lee said Bitmine has continued purchasing Ether every week and expects institutional cryptocurrency exposure to increase in the final months of 2026.
