Galaxy and BNY have joined forces to strengthen digital asset services for institutional investors through a new staking integration. The collaboration will add institutional staking capabilities to BNY’s Digital Asset Custody platform, allowing eligible clients to manage custody and staking through one streamlined system.

Moreover, the initiative reflects growing demand for comprehensive digital asset solutions as traditional financial institutions continue embracing blockchain technology. The partnership also highlights the industry’s focus on combining secure custody with additional yield-generating opportunities under institutional standards.

Unified Platform for Institutional Clients

Eligible institutions will gain access to staking alongside custody, fund accounting, tax reporting, payment services, and client reporting where available. Consequently, investors can manage several digital asset functions within a single operational framework.

Galaxy will also contribute to the platform’s ongoing development as a strategic infrastructure partner. Additionally, the company will help refine digital asset services as institutional participation continues expanding.

Strengthening Institutional Digital Asset Infrastructure

The partnership combines Galaxy’s experience in proof-of-stake infrastructure with BNY’s established financial services network. Besides simplifying operations, the integrated model aims to improve efficiency while maintaining strong governance and operational controls.

However, BNY will launch staking services only after completing the required regulatory review. Hence, the collaboration marks another step toward broader institutional adoption of digital assets while supporting secure and scalable blockchain participation.
