Payward, the parent company of Kraken, filed to bring single-stock perpetual futures to US traders, expanding its derivatives offering beyond crypto.
The filing covers 10 US stocks, including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon. Moreover, Payward is working toward 24/5 trading, extending access beyond regular stock-market hours.
Payward Targets Extended Trading
“Stock markets close, and the events that move them don’t,” Payward said on X. The company said traders could respond to market-moving news outside regular hours.
Additionally, Payward plans to offer onchain perpetual futures through Hyperliquid to eligible US clients. Bitnomial Exchange would list the contracts under its rules, subject to regulatory approval.

Kraken Expands Perpetual Offering
Kraken launched CFTC-regulated crypto perpetual futures for eligible US clients in June. The contracts cover Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and other major cryptocurrencies.
Meanwhile, Kraken offers tokenized-equity perpetual futures to eligible clients outside the US. Those contracts allow continuous trading and leverage on assets such as Nvidia, Apple and Tesla.
The proposed filing would bring perpetual futures on individual stocks to US traders. However, Kraken would need regulatory approval before launching the products.
