Strategy Inc announced a $25 million STRC repurchase as it strengthens its preferred stock strategy. The company bought 288,930 shares at an average price of $86.52 between July 20 and July 26. Additionally, Strategy said it will continue buying STRC below $100 while monitoring market conditions, a move that supports the token’s stability.

Reserve Growth and Funding Approach

Moreover, Strategy increased its USD Reserve to $3.75 billion after raising $525 million through MSTR sales. The reserve covers 25 months of expected preferred dividend payments.

However, the company will not use this reserve for STRC repurchases. Instead, Strategy plans to use external sources, including MSTR and bitcoin sales. Hence, management aims to preserve dividend support while executing disciplined capital allocation.

Long-Term STRC Market Goal

Significantly, Strategy wants STRC to trade near $100 with strong liquidity and lower volatility. The company kept its $975 million authorization available.

Consequently, Strategy expects larger purchases during deeper discounts and fewer purchases near the target price. Additionally, executives will maintain the 12% annualized dividend rate until STRC shows sustained healthy trading.
