Strive has pushed its Bitcoin treasury to 25,000 BTC after purchasing another 469 coins last week. The latest acquisition cost $36.6 million, with Strive paying an average price slightly below $78,000 per Bitcoin.

Consequently, the company now controls Bitcoin holdings worth approximately $1.95 billion at current market prices. The purchase strengthens Strive’s position among the world’s largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders.

Bitcoin traded at $78,612.74 at the latest update, rising 1.98% during the previous 24 hours. However, the cryptocurrency remained down 0.80% over the past week.

Preferred Stock Supports Continued Accumulation

CEO Matt Cole highlighted SATA as the sole source of capital raised during the latest week. Additionally, Strive’s perpetual preferred stock recently surpassed $1 billion in notional value outstanding.

Moreover, the company’s amplification ratio climbed to 53.5%. This measure compares preferred equity and debt obligations against the value of Strive’s Bitcoin holdings. Hence, Strive continues using capital market instruments to expand its treasury strategy.

Fifth Place, but Bigger Ambitions Remain

Strive currently ranks fifth among public companies holding Bitcoin, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet, and MARA. However, its latest purchase slowed considerably from the previous week’s 1,375 BTC acquisition.

To surpass Twenty One, Strive would need another 18,515 BTC. Significantly, that goal would require aggressive weekly purchases if its competitor maintains current holdings. With 15 full weeks remaining this year, Strive would need to acquire roughly 1,234 BTC weekly.
