WisdomTree and MoonPay are joining forces to broaden U.S. investor access to tokenized Treasury funds through MoonPay’s digital asset network. The partnership centers on WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX), a tokenized money market mutual fund. Additionally, MoonPay plans to use WTGXX within its stablecoin reserve management strategy.

Expanding Tokenized Fund Access

The collaboration could connect WisdomTree’s regulated investment products with MoonPay’s network of more than 35 million accounts. MoonPay also serves over 1,700 partners across its financial technology platform.

Consequently, eligible U.S. investors could gain another route into WTGXX through MoonPay’s technology. WisdomTree currently offers access through its broker-dealer, WisdomTree Securities.

Moreover, the companies expect the partnership to support additional tokenized fund opportunities across international markets. Hence, the initiative could extend beyond Treasury-focused products over time.

Stronger Demand for Tokenized Treasurys

The partnership comes as tokenized U.S. Treasury products continue attracting capital from digital asset investors. RWA.xyz data showed the tokenized U.S. Treasury market at roughly $15.4 billion Thursday.

WTGXX represented approximately $1.23 billion of that market. Significantly, the fund recorded $466 million in net flows during the previous 30 days.

Net flows measure the difference between newly minted and burned tokens. Meanwhile, Ondo’s U.S. Dollar Yield fund recorded $66 million in positive net flows.

However, investors still face risks, including potential principal losses and blockchain-related vulnerabilities. WTGXX seeks a $1 share value but cannot guarantee principal preservation.
