Alt Rank, a unique index by @LunarCrush which combines actual altcoin price performance relative to Bitcoin (BTC) and social activity indicators, has ranked the top 5 altcoins for today.
On Alt Rank’s list of the top 5 altcoins are Klaytn (KLAY), SushiSwap (SUSHI), Elrond (EGLD), Aave (AAVE), and Synthetix (SNX). As can be seen by the graphic above, these altcoins have all posted gains over the last 24 hours.
KLAY was able to print the biggest gain of 23.1%. Second on the list is SUSHI with a 9.4% gain in price.
EGLD, AAVE, and SNX occupy the remaining positions on the list with their respective gains amounting to 3.9%, 3.7%, and 3.7%.
In terms of daily trading volume, KLAY saw its 24-hour trade volume increase by $303 million. Meanwhile, SUSHI’s 24-hour trade volume rose by $104 million, and EGLD, AAVE and SNX all saw their daily trading volume increase by $31.9 million, $143 million and $39.1 million, respectively.
At press time, CoinMarketCap shows that the price of KLAY stands at $0.179. SUSHI currently trades at $1.40, whereas EGLD trades at $57.48. AAVE hovers at $86.35 and SNX trades at $2.29.
In related news, the largest altcoin by market cap, Ethereum (ETH), is trading at $1,339.60 at press time after a 2.24% increase in price over the last 24 hours. This has also flipped the weekly performance of ETH positive as the coin is now up 2.16% over the last 7 days as well.
